Wrong way driver causes crash in Brown Deer

Several people are injured after a crash involving a wrong way driver in Brown Deer Friday night.

Brown Deer Police and North Shore Fire Department responded to the crash in the 8600 block of N. Green Bay Road around 8:30 PM.

The crash involved three vehicles.

It was determined that the accident was caused by a wrong way driver going north in the southbound lanes of Green Bay Road.

The wrong way driver was taken to the hospital with severe injuries.

Two other people were taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

A fourth person was treated on the scene.

Brown Deer police say that preliminary investigation indicates that alcohol may be a contributing factor in the crash.

The Wisconsin State Patrol responded to assist with the investigation.
