UPDATE: Man shot in Milwaukee Saturday night dies from injuries

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- The victim shot near 18th and Locust died from his injuries on Wednesday, April 25. 

The victim has been identified as 25-year-old Jimmie Williams.

Milwaukee Police are still searching for suspects.

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) – A 21-year-old man remains in the hospital in serious condition after being shot Saturday night, according to police.

Authorities say the shooting took place around 9:15 p.m. Saturday near N. 18th St. and W. Locust St.

The victim was dropped off at a Milwaukee Fire Department house. MFD performed life saving measures and took the victim to a local hospital.

The person who brought the victim to the fire house left the scene.

Police continue to search for the suspect.

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) – A man wounded in a shooting Saturday night is in serious condition at a local hospital.

According to the MPD, around 9:15 p.m. Saturday, a 21-year-old man was dropped off at a Milwaukee Fire House with what is described as a very serious gunshot wound. MFD personnel took life saving measures to treat the man and then transported him to a local hospital.

According to police, the person who dropped the victim off at the fire house fled the scene. Police are continuing to search for a suspect.

The location of the shooting has not been determined.
