A manager at a restaurant on Milwaukee's Southside says her workers stopped a man who tried to rob the place with a knife on Tuesday morning.
It happened at Omega Restaurant on the corner of 27th and Morgan.
"The cooks heard the waitress yell and fall, so they came out and ran after him. They tackled him until police arrived," said Angela Hernandez, the restaurant manager.
"It's a little bit scary," Hernandez said. "Nothing like this has ever happened before."
One woman did get hurt but she is being treated and is expected to be fine.
The restaurant is now back open for business.
