Woman Shot and Killed After Physical Altercation Near 50th and Fairmount

MILWAUKEE - Milwaukee police are investigating a homicide that happened around 6:10 p.m. this afternoon.

Police responded to the 5000 block of West Fairmount.

According to the Milwaukee Police, they found a yet to be identified woman in her 20's who they believed was shot during a physical altercation on the street.

The woman was transported to a local hospital for treatment but died despite life-saving efforts.

Milwaukee Police continue their investigation into the circumstances surrounding this incident.
