RACINE, Wis. (CBS 58) – A 22-year-old woman was rescued from Lake Michigan in Racine Wednesday evening.
According to the Racine County Sheriff’s Office, the woman was around 400 feet offshore in 12 feet of water.
As deputies arrived, she told them, “I can’t swim, I can’t feel my arms or legs”.
The Racine woman was pulled from the water and taken to a local hospital for evaluation.
Authorities are looking into why the woman was in the water.
