One dead after car vs semi crash in Oak Grove

DODGE COUNTY, Wis. (CBS 58) -- The woman involved in a two-vehicle crash in the town of Oak Grove has died from her injuries. 

Investigators say she and a 63-year-old semi-truck driver from Oshkosh got into a collision after she failed to yield the right of way at a stop sign. She suffered from life-threatening injuries and was flown via Flight for Life to an area hospital Thursday, Jan. 29. 

She has been identified by officials as 45-year-old Keasha Altman. 

The crash remains under investigation. 


DODGE COUNTY, Wis. (CBS 58) -- One person is injured after a crash involving a car and a semi at the intersection of County Highway S at Main Street Rd. in the town of Oak Grove earlier Thursday, Jan. 29. 

Investigators found that a 45-year-old woman from Beaver Dam was driving a Honda Civic south along Main Street Rd, when she failed to yield the right of way at a stop sign at the intersection and was struck by a Volvo Tractor pulling a loaded trailer. 

The driver of the semi was a 63-year-old man from Oshkosh. 

The woman was flown by Flight for Life to the Aurora Summit Hospital with life-threatening injuries. The tractor driver was not injured. 

Names are being withheld was officials notified family.
