Woman Hides from Officers after Striking Vehicle at McDonald's Drive Thru

A female driver in West Bend struck another vehicle in the McDonald’s drive thru on Saturday at 2:13 AM.

She then allegedly left the scene.

According to West Bend Police, as officers were responding to the crash a passenger in the female’s vehicle called police reporting the female driver was speeding, driving erratically, swerving between traffic lanes, and refusing to stop.

An officer located the vehicle at the driver’s residence, and found the driver hiding in the home. When the officer spoke to the driver the officer observed signs the driver was intoxicated. The 50 year old West Bend woman failed the standardized field sobriety tests, blew a .175% in a PBT, and was arrested for OWI2nd Offense, and Operating after Revocation. Her license was revoked for the previous OWI she was convicted of.
