MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Wisconsin Department of Transportation spokesperson Sean Race joined us Tuesday, Sept. 1 with an update on Milwaukee-area construction ahead of Labor Day weekend.
Center Drive over I-43 is scheduled to reopen by 5 a.m. Friday, Sept. 4, following several months of bridge and roadway work.
WisDOT will also suspend freeway work from noon Friday through 6 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 8, with at least two lanes open in each direction.
Race also reminded drivers heading to Monday’s Brewers-Cubs game at American Family Field about a long-term lane closure on eastbound I-94 beginning at 70th Street.
