Seeds of Hope to host 'Planting Possibilities' golf fundraiser, providing opportunities to adults with challenges 🌱

ELKHORN, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Wisconsin-based nonprofit, Seeds of Hope, which offers job, education and community opportunities for adults with physical, cognitive and other disabilities, is set to host its second annual "Planting Possibilities" golf fundraiser.

Scheduled at Evergreen Golf Club on Friday, Aug. 25, the event will include a variety of contests, games, raffles and prizes, culminating in a fish fry dinner. Proceeds will benefit the Seeds of Hope program.

Area residents, leaders and Seeds of Hope participants will gather for a day of sport, entertainment and support for Wisconsin's disabled adult community.

Seeds of Hope's aim is to enable participants to engage in customized activities, including the sale of seeds, flowers, baked goods and more, promoting a sense of purpose while bolstering social networks, regardless of individual capabilities.

Registration for the golf fundraiser begins at 11:30 a.m., followed by a Shotgun Start at 1 p.m. and dinner later in the evening.
