Skate Milwaukee provides competition experience⛸️
MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- A ceremony was held in MacArthur Square in Milwaukee Wednesday, May 5, to honor our fallen heroes.
The Greater Milwaukee Law Enforcement Memorial Ceremony featured speakers with Milwaukee law enforcement and Attorney General Josh Kaul.
The ceremony was held to honor and remember Wisconsin law enforcement officers killed in the line of duty.
"As we pay homage to our fallen heroes, I say to my fellow men and women of the badge -- how do we collectively honor the sacrifice they have given to our respective communities?" said Acting Chief Jeffrey Norman. "We can honor them by remaining guardians of our community."
"Your family, as much as you, is part of that, and is making the sacrifice that goes into serving our communities," added Attorney General Kaul.
The ceremony was held ahead of National Police Week, which runs next week from May 9-15.
