MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Fourteen Wisconsin museums are joining forces this fall for a new statewide initiative called Wisconsin Art Destinations. The museums have announced a lineup of exhibitions, workshops and events available through October.
Tyler Potter, marketing and communications specialist at the Racine Art Museum, joined us on Tuesday, Aug. 19 to discuss the campaign.
The museums are offering a "Visit 3, Get a T" promotion. Visitors who check in at three participating museums by scanning QR codes at the front desk will receive a limited-edition t-shirt while supplies last.
Organizers say the collaboration also includes discounts with local restaurants, hotels and attractions to encourage cultural road trips across the state. More information is available by clicking here.
