Wisconsin Mayor Wins Million Dollar Lottery

Beaver Dam, Wis- The Mayor of Fox Lake Thomas Bednarek won the $1,000,000 prize from the Saturday Powerball drawing, according to Channel 3000.
According to the WI lottery press release, the winning ticket was purchased at Rechek's Food Pride, 609 North Spring Street in Beaver Dam.
Rechek's Food Pride will receive $20,000 for selling the winning ticket. Retailers who sell winning tickets over $599 receive an incentive of 2% of the winning ticket amount up to $100,000.
The winning Powerball numbers from Saturday, February 20 were 11, 12, 15, 16 and 54 with a Powerball of 25. The Power Play number was 5. The winning ticket matched the five regular winning numbers, but not the Powerball.
