Wisconsin Man Pulled Into Van at Fazolis; Robbed and Beaten by Three Suspects

MADISON, Wis. (Channel 3000) - A Sun Prairie man was pulled into a van and robbed at gunpoint as he was leaving a Fazolis with his girlfriend, according to a release from Madison police.

The 20-year-old man told police he and his girlfriend were leaving Fazoli’s at 2143 Zeier Road at about 9PM. When he walked by three men and a van they asked him for a cigarette. When he ignored him they grabbed him and put him in the van.

In a nearby parking lot, the man was robbed of his money and beaten while he was inside the van, according to Channel 3000.

He received multiple head injuries.

A Capitol police officer spotted the suspect van in the 4400 block of Buckeye Road and Madison police arrived to assist. Two of the three men were arrested. The third man left on foot before police arrived.
