Wisconsin Humane Society seeks foster homes

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- The Wisconsin Humane Society is in search of fosters to provide animals with a place to stay as they await adoption.

In a social media post, the humane society says they recently welcomed 13 dogs from a shelter in Oklahoma that had been rescued from a hoarding situation.

They say four of the arrivals went to Elmbrook Humane Society, and the other nine remain at the Wisconsin Humane Society.

The organization says while they aren't quite ready for placement, they will likely spend time in foster care during their transition.

Several other pets -- cats and dogs of all ages -- are also in need of foster homes while they await permanent placement.
