MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- The Wisconsin Humane Society is encouraging pet owners to include their pet companions in New Year's goals.
The organization suggests spending quality time with pets through walks, trips to the dog park or one-on-one time at home.
For those without pets, the Wisconsin Humane Society is looking for volunteers and foster families. Stacy Oatman of WHS tells us that anyone can foster regardless of experience, whether they have children or other animals at home.
"We will not let that be a barrier for fostering so we can help you out, talk you through everything that you need to do," Oatman said.
