Wisconsin GLO wins league title in inaugural season

OSHKOSH - The Wisconsin GLO, a pro women's basketball team based in Oshkosh, capped off a perfect season Sunday with an 80-78 win over the Flint Monarchs in the GWBA championship game.

Seven players on the team are from the Milwaukee area. The GLO finished the 14-0 season with its most impressive win of all against the three-time defending league champion.

The GLO entered the league's playoffs as the top seed and host team after rattling off 12 regular season wins without a loss.
