MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- A local organization is helping make sure kids have something under the tree this Christmas.
The Southeast Wisconsin Freemasons held a 'Toys for Tots' Drive at the Marine Corp Reserve Center.
Members carried truckloads of brand-new gifts, which were donated from a number of groups in the area.
It's a time of the year one Freemason says is all about helping others.
"Just do something good for someone else," said Freemason Karl Cleppe. "I don't want any child to go to bed or wake up hungry or no child to wake up without a toy."
In total the Freemasons collected over 2,000 toys, which will go to as many as 1,000 families across our hometowns.
