Financial advisor talks Financial Literacy Month
STURTEVANT, Wis. (CBS 58) -- As Foxconn prepares to break ground on its massive manufacturing campus in Mount Pleasant, local businesses are anxious to get involved.
The Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation held an informational session on Tuesday for those businesses.
The session gave construction-related companies a detailed briefing of how they can become a vendor, subcontractor, supplier, or professional service provider.
Businesses CBS 58 News talked to say it seems like there's a lot of opportunity.
"It doesn't really sound like there's gonna be one supplier or one company. They're gonna need a lot of different people so that's a lot of different opportunities out there so hopefully, we can get our foot in there," said Kati Budnik, a representative with Airgas.
Phase one of Foxconn construction is expected to begin sometime this spring.
