"Winter Never Really Wanted to Stay this Year:" Ski Season in Southeastern Wisconsin is Winding Down

WISCONSIN - The ski season in southeastern Wisconsin is winding down.

"It's been a challenge. Winter never really wanted to stay here this year."

General manager Mike Schmitz at the "Little Switzerland" Ski Hill tells us that this will probably be the last weekend of skiing until next winter. Although he hasn't completely ruled out opening for a few more days.

Schmitz tells us business has been good this year despite the mild weather. They just got about 6 inches of snow this week, so you're in luck if you want to get in a few more runs.
