RACINE, Wis. (CBS 58) – The Wisconsin Institute for Law & Liberty (WILL) is filing an emergency motion in the Wisconsin Supreme Court asking for the Racine Public Health Administrator and her department to be held in contempt.
According to a press release from WILL, the motion request also requests the court to impose monetary sanctions up to $2,000 per day.
The WILL says the health administrator instructed all schools within city limits to remain closed for in-person learning despite an injunction issued on November 25 by the Supreme Court which blocked the implementation of a school closure order.
The court ordered the case to be held in abeyance pending a decision in a Dane County school closure case.
