Wildlife in Need Center to host 'Wildlife in the Park' in Dousman

OCONOMOWOC, Wis. (CBS 58) -- The Wildlife in Need Center in Oconomowoc is organizing "Wildlife in the Park" to take place on Saturday, Sept. 9.

Cory Park in Dousman is scheduled to host the gathering from 4 to 7 p.m. The event aims to educate the public about native Wisconsin wildlife through the center's Educational Animal Ambassadors.

Additional activities include music, games and face painting. Food such as bratwurst and hot dogs will be available for purchase.

The center, a nonprofit organization, noted in a press release about the event that they have treated more than 67,000 animals across 140 species since its 1994 founding. Funds raised at the event will support the center's mission.
