Whitewater Man to Head to Trial for 7th OWI

WAUSAU, Wis. (WSAW) -- A 43-year-old Whitewater man charged with his seventh drunken driving offense will head to trial.
Scott Batra was arrested by a State Patrol trooper Monday afternoon.
According to a news release from State Patrol, Batra was stopped on I-39 south of Mosinee around 1:18 p.m. on Oct. 31.
Batra is free on $5,000 cash bond. He'll return to court Dec. 8 for a clerical court appearance.
