Whitefish Bay Police Looking for Package Thieves who also had a Stolen Car
Whitefish Bay Police are looking for two suspects who stole packages from residents in the 4700 block of N. Larkin St. The suspects ran from the area when police were looking for them.
Whitefish Bay Police set up a perimeter and used the K-9 unit to search for the suspects, but could not find them
Neighbors in the area said they've known about the recent package thefts for the last couple of days.
\"I think it’s a little surprising but I think it’s a very easy crime to do because it’s simple because someone can pull up and be gone in a matter of seconds,\" said Jeff Biskowitz.
Biskowitz said he works to keep track of his packages so he can pick them up quickly. Recently, he's noticed that delivery companies are dropping off packages behind his fence instead of on his porch.
On Saturday evening, police found the car the suspects were connected to was stolen. The car was reported stolen from Milwaukee and was towed from the area of the thefts and is currently being processed.
Glendale and Shorewood Police are also assisting Whitefish Bay Police with this investigation.
