Details announced for the 10th annual Mayor’s Masked Ball fundraiser
MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- A wide variety of attractions and events are on the calendar in Milwaukee's Historic Third Ward this summer, according to Jordan Dechambre of the Historic Third Ward Association. She joined us on Monday, June 10 for a preview.
Pier Garden at The Starling is open for the summer, offering craft cocktails and food from Tall Guy and a Grill & Brazen Standard on the Riverwalk. Sweetly Baked, located in the Marshall Building, features a combination of bakery, wine and art. Also, Brisa Do Mar aims to bring a taste of the Mediterranean, including wood-fired pizzas, to the Riverwalk.
"Friday Night Lights," a 10-minute light show, illuminates the Hoan Bridge every Friday at 9 p.m. through Sept. 27, showcasing themes to support city events and special observances.
The Riverwalk Commons Concert Series begins Tuesday, June 11, with performances from 6 to 8:30 p.m. The series includes a pre-performance happy hour from 5 to 6 p.m. Upcoming performers include The Panoptics on June 11 and Cozy Danger on June 25.
Dinky Links Mini Golf, a uniquely tiny miniature golf experience, is open at the Milwaukee Public Market through June 30. For a $20 non-refundable donation to the charity First Tee, participants receive private access and equipment for an hour.
Milwaukee's summer festivals include Polish Fest from June 14-16 and Summerfest, starting June 20, spanning three consecutive weekends.
