Weston man arrested for 4th OWI
WESTON, Wis. (CBS 58) -- A 35-year-old Weston, Wisconsin man has been arrested for operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated for a fourth time.
Joshua M Wesenick was arrested near County Highway J and Callon Avenue by the Wisconsin State Patrol Wausau Post for operating a motor vehicle under the influence on Sunday, August 22.
The arrest occurred at approximately 7:35 p.m.
Authorities say the trooper with the Wisconsin State Patrol, Wausau Post, stopped a 2000 GMC Sierra on County Trunk Highway J and Callon Avenue for a seatbelt violation.
Reports then indicate that the trooper detected the odor of intoxicants coming the vehicle and the driver admitted to drinking alcohol as well.
After a subsequent investigation, including standardized field sobriety testing, the 35-year-old driver was arrested for operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated
Officials say this is the fourth offense for Wesenick.
