WAUKESHA COUNTY, Wis. (CBS 58) – A mom and her new baby girl are happy and healthy after the Western Lakes Fire District was called for an “imminent delivery.”
Chief Brad Bowen says the crew got the call from Oconomowoc. When they went to the house, emergency responders helped deliver the baby right at the home.
“Out of 4,000 calls a year, one baby out of 4,000, that’s kind of a rare occurrence and exciting at the same time,” said Chief Bowen.
Western Lakes Fire District said mother and baby were taken to the hospital in good condition and sent their congratulations to the new parents.
