West Milwaukee Police investigate hit and run

 A man was injured in a hit and run accident in West Milwaukee just after 10 p.m. on Tuesday, March 24.  

It happened at 55th and National Ave.  Police say the 34 year old man was struck while crossing the road.  The driver of the vehicle drove off from the scene.  Witnesses describe the vehicle as a dark colored, four door sedan.  Investigators are still searching for that driver.  

The victim was taken to the Froedtert Hospital with serious injuries.
