West Bend Crossing Guard Retires after 36 Years

A crossing guard in West Bend retired on Thursday after being a crossing guard for 36 years.

According to West Bend Police, members of the West Bend Police Department and neighborhood residents met with Crossing Guard Theresa Hron at her long time intersection, Greentree Road and Park Avenue, to congratulate her on her retirement.

This morning was Theresa’s last work assignment as a crossing guard after 36 years of dedication to the safety of the children of our community and service to the West Bend Police Department
