West Allis Police searching for information after 5 bullet holes discovered in home
WEST ALLIS, Wis. (CBS 58) -- West Allis Police are searching for information after a resident discovered five bullet holes on the east side of their home.
Police were called to a home near 63rd and Mitchell around 11:17 a.m. on November 7 for a report of a resident who had located the bullet holes in their home.
Witnesses told police that the shots fired incident occurred around 9 p.m. on November 6.
One witness reported seeing a dark colored vehicle that had primer on it, possibly a Chevrolet Impala. Another witness reported seeing a smaller red vehicle traveling southbound in the 1700 block of S. 62nd Street at a high rate of speed after hearing loud bangs outside.
The investigation remains ongoing.
Shell casings were recovered from the scene.
