West Allis Police investigating 3 separated strong armed robberies that they believe may be connected

WEST ALLIS, Wis. (CBS 58) -- The West Allis Police Department is currently investigating three separate strong-armed robberies that they believe are connected.

On October 22 around 11:15 p.m., officers responded to the area of 89th and Rogers for a report of a robbery. The victim, a 30-year-old West Allis man, told police that two men approached him on foot while walking on the sidewalk. One allegedly grabbed him and threw him to the ground, demanding money. The other suspect then allegedly went through the victim's pockets. According to the victim, they then punched him in the face and took his cell phone. The first suspect is described as a male black, 15-20 years old, approximately 6'2, and 250 pounds wearing a grey hoodie and black pants. The second suspect is described as a black male, approximately 15-20 years old, approximately 5’11”, 180lbs wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and black pants.

On October 23 at 12:04 a.m., officers responded to the area of 73rd and National for a possible armed robbery. Officers located the victim who said he was assaulted and held down by two men that took $60 in cash, his drivers license, bank card, and cell phone. The victim described one offender as a male black, approximately 6'03", and 200 pounds with a beard. The other offender was described as  a male black, 6'00, and 180 pounds.

On October 23 at 5:30 p.m., officers responded to the area of 73 and Madison for a report of a robbery. The victim, a 32-year-old West Allis man, told police that two men approached him while he was walking on the sidewalk. One of the suspects struck him on the nose and stole his quest card from his front left sweater pocket. The two men then fled the scene.

The first suspect is described as a male black, 5'10, with a beard. He was wearing a white Brewer's hat with an old style logo, a dark colored solid hoodie, and khakis. The second suspect is described as a male white, with a goatee, and short brown hair. He was wearing a blue Brewer's shirt with a new logo and jeans.

The investigation into these robberies remains ongoing. The West Allis Police Department believes there is a strong likelihood that they are connected.

No suspects have been taken into custody.
