West Allis Police Identify 19-Year-Old Allegedly Fatally Shot by 14-Year-Old
West Allis Police identified the 19 year-old that was fatally shot on Sunday during an attempted robbery.
According to police, the deceased victim is identified as Croshian Xaviere –Romaine Edwards, Jr. of West Allis.
The victims were shot during the course of an attempted robbery by the 14 year old male and a 13 year old male accomplice.
The 17 year old victim remains hospitalized as a result of the gunshot wounds and sustained serious injuries.
The shooting suspect and victims were known to one another and the incident does not appear to be a random act.
The 14 year old juvenile male was taken into custody on Sunday as the suspect in the shooting of both victims.
The 13 year old male is from West Allis and was taken into custody on Sunday for his role in the incident. The 13 year old male is suspected in being involved in the attempted robbery, but is not suspected of firing the gunshots.
According to police, both juveniles remain in custody and the Milwaukee County District Attorney’s office will review the incident for charges.
