MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Support came in a big way for people getting help from the Wellpoint Care Network.
The organization, partnered with the Milwaukee Diaper Mission, held its third annual 'Diapers for Dads' distribution event.
Wellpoint is celebrating a big milestone Friday, Dec. 12, and wanted to carry the theme into the event.
"We're celebrating 175-year anniversary this year," said President and CEO, Reggie Newson. "Our goal was to get 17,500 diapers that we would give out 100 diapers to 175 dads."
They were able to give out even more than that, thanks to donations from the community.
Dads and families could also pick up food, toys, games and books to take some stress off their shoulders and giver their kids a happy holiday!
