MEQUON, Wis. (CBS 58) – Week eight of high school football brings the CBS 58 Tailgate out to Mequon as Hartford takes on the 6 -2 Homestead Highlanders. The Highlanders have put together six landslide victories this season, including a dominant 50-12 decision over Cedarburg last week.
“You know I think we got a really good team. We work will together as a team and I think the way our defense is playing right now, I think if we execute our game plan we can play with anybody,” says Homestead cornerback Ben Price.
The Hartford Orioles are also flying high. They’ve scored 47 points a game the last two weeks and the defense has had three shutouts this year.
Stay tuned for highlights from this game and other games around southeastern Wisconsin Friday night during the CBS 58 Endzone at 10 p.m.
