MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- With CBS 58's extended noon show, our team of meteorologists are putting their head's together to cover topics that otherwise don't get time in shows -- topics that are interesting, informative and help people understand weather a little bit better.
This week, Rebecca Schuld kicks off the weekly segment talking harvest time and tips in your garden as the growing season comes to a close.
The Hunger Task Force produces a half-million pounds of produce annually.
The corn being harvested and shipped off to local food pantries and soup kitchens goes from farm to table in as little as 24-48 hours.
Awesome!
