Steil defeated Democrat Randy Bryce to represent Wisconsin’s 1st Congressional District. He’ll take outgoing House Speaker Paul Ryan’s seat. Steil said he campaigned for just around six months.
“It was a really short campaign so we worked really hard,” Steil told CBS 58 morning anchor Mike Curkov.
Steil said his first goal is to focus on economic issues. Watch the full interview in the attached video above.
