Steil defeated Democrat Randy Bryce to represent Wisconsin’s 1st Congressional District. He’ll take outgoing House Speaker Paul Ryan’s seat. Steil said he campaigned for just around six months.
“It was a really short campaign so we worked really hard,” Steil told CBS 58 morning anchor Mike Curkov.
