MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- We Energies is welcoming the arrival of the first peregrine falcon chick this nesting season.

They say one of three eggs at Valley Power Plant in Milwaukee has hatched, and the remaining two could hatch at any time.

This is the second year that parents Rolo and an unbanded female have nested together.

We Energies is asking for help naming this little one, and its siblings - the theme is Wisconsin Olympic medalists. Voting ends May 9.

Eight eggs additional eggs were laid at two other nesting sites. You can watch all of the first milestones on We Energies' 24/7 live nest box webcams

Since the installation of peregrine falcon nest boxes on power plants in the early 90s, We Energies says 444 peregrine falcons have hatched at We Energies and Wisconsin Public Service facilities.
