We Energies responds to multiple power outages due to high winds

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- We Energies is responding to a number of power outages across the area due to high winds Sunday, Nov. 1.

According to officials, high winds are knocking down tree branches and limbs, causing them to come into contact with WE Energies equipment.

There are currently power outages in Southeast Wisconsin and Fox Valley.

A spokesperson for We Energies said crews are working as safely and as quickly as possible to restore power to customers.
