WE Energies customers feeling the heat on winter bills

MILWAUKEE -- WE Energies is alerting customers to brace themselves for a winter shock on their next energy bill.

They say it's a simple equation--the colder it gets, the higher the energy bill goes--and customers can expect to see a 30 to 45 percent increase on January's bill. 

Brian Manthey, spokesperson for WE Energies, joined the CBS 58 Morning News to explain what people can do if they can't afford their energy bill and to give tips on what customers can do to ease the burden on their bill.
