Waukesha police respond to woman performing 'spiritual ritual' on dead animal in road
WAUKESHA (CBS 58) -- Police responded to Springdale and Bluemound Road on Monday, Feb. 24, after a caller reported that a woman was performing a "spiritual ritual" on a dead animal in the road.
The caller reported that a woman was in the right lane of traffic with her driver's side door open, throwing water in the air.
A second caller said they'd been following the vehicle before this because the woman's behavior was erratic.
The caller said the woman was throwing goldfish and windshield washer fluid on the dead animal.
The woman then pulled out a Green Bay Packer lawn chair and yelled "repent" at the dead animal.
A police report indicates that a dead possum was removed from the roadway.
