WAUKESHA (CBS 58) — The Horwitz-DeRemer Planetarium is holding Apollopalooza Week to mark the 50th anniversary of the Apollo 11 mission.
The planetarium, located at the Retzer Nature Center in Waukesha, is holding a number of events this week.
The events include a rocket building workshop, solar observation, and a full dome show of CapCom Go! The Apollo Story.
"Hopefully it inspires younger people to get interested in the space program, to hear that these were every day people just like us that went out and took on a very large obstacle, large challenge and just took it head on," said Chris Henry, the EAA Aviation Museum Programs Manager in Oshkosh, Wisconsin, who spoke at the planetarium Tuesday.
