Waukesha County Sheriff's Office searching for Home Intruder

A home invasion and armed robbery occurred in the Town of Vernon on Tuesday on Crestview Court.

The victim ran out of her residence and to a neighbor where they called 911 around 5:30 PM.

Deputies from the Waukesha County Sheriff’s Department responded immediately, but were unable to locate the suspect.  The house was searched and processed for evidence.

The suspect in this incident is described as white male, 5-feet 6-inches to 5-feet 8-inches, slim build, wearing a blue-hooded sweatshirt and jeans.  A dark colored handgun was displayed by the suspect upon entering the home. 

The victim in this incident was not injured.  This incident remains under investigation by the Waukesha County Sheriff’s Department.
