UPDATE: President Barack Obama nominated Merrick Garland to the Supreme Court Wednesday morning.
Garland would replace the late justice Antonin Scalia.
Garland oversaw the Federal response of the Oklahoma City bombing.

President Obama will announce a nominee for the Supreme Court today. The candidate would replace the late justice Antonin Scalia.
Senate Republicans have vowed not to hold confirmation hearings, meet, or vote on any nominee. They want the next president to make the selection.
President Obama will make his announcement at 10 Wednesday morning.
