Waste collection event scheduled for Waukesha County June 16

DELAFIELD, Wis. (CBS 58) – The City of Delafield will hold a household hazardous waste collection day on June 16.

The event will be open to any Waukesha County residents from 8 a.m. to noon.

The collection will be held at the city’s Department of Public Works located at 111 Main Street.

Old, unusable chemicals including pesticides, wood preservatives, solvents and oil-based paints will be accepted. Latex paint, non-hazardous cleaning products, motor oil and oil filters will not be accepted.

Residents will be required to show their ID to verify proof of residency. More information can be found on the county’s website.
