Washington County Sheriff's Office Called to Break up a Fist Fight on I-41

Washington County Sheriff’s Office was called to a fist fight on I-41 Tuesday morning at 1:31 AM.

According to the Sheriff’s Office, a 911 call came in from a passing motorist reporting two male subjects fighting on the shoulder of I41 near the fog line.

Responding deputies located two men, ages 24 and 25, from the City of Fond du Lac standing on the shoulder of I-41.

The deputies determined that the two men were arguing about how one of the subjects became separated from a group while in Milwaukee.

The driver told the passenger to stop arguing about it, or he would pull the car over and settle the dispute by fighting on the side of the road.

That is exactly what occurred.

Both of the men got into a physical altercation, which according to the caller included fist fighting.

Neither was injured.

Both were cited for disorderly conduct and open intoxicants in a motor vehicle.

The passenger, 24, was arrested on a probation hold as he also had a no drink order.

The driver was not intoxicated, but arrangements were made to have another responsible party remove the vehicle.
