Washington County shed fire closes traffic
JACKSON, Wis. (CBS 58) --- The Washington County Sheriff's Office was notified of a shed fire in the town of Jackson around 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 2.
Officials say the caller reported the roof of the shed was fully engulfed near Western Avenue and Division Road.
Deputies were dispatched along with Jackson Fire Department.
WCSO said the first deputy arrived confirmed smoke and flames coming from the roof and verified there was no animals or people inside the building.
The structure was a pole shed measuring about 40 feet by 100 feet. According to officials, the shed and contents are a total loss and there is no damage estimate at this time.
WCSO tweeted at 12:46 p.m. that traffic on Western between Division and Maple Road are currently closed to all traffic except fire departments.

Jackson Fire Department was assisted by fire departments from West Bend, Newburg, Slinger, Hartford, Richfield, Germantown, and Cedarburg.
