Washington County Jail inmate facing additional charges for ID theft

WASHINGTON COUNTY, Wis. (CBS 58) -- A Washington County Jail inmate is facing additional charges for ID theft.
According to the Sheriff's Office, the inmate allegedly stole another inmate's account number and pin to unlawfully obtain prepaid phone services between October 14 and October 20.
The suspect, a 32-year-old City of Hartford man, is currently in custody for a probation violation when he purportedly started using a fellow inmate’s account to make 36 unauthorized calls
The victim was alerted when he attempted to use his account and received an automated message that his account was already in use.
The Sheriff's Office is now requesting additional charges.
