Walmart employee attacked by customer in Mount Pleasant, police say

MOUNT PLEASANT, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Police say an employee at the Walmart Neighborhood Market in Mount Pleasant was attacked by a customer on Wednesday, Oct. 21.

Officers responded to the store near Washington Avenue and Green Bay Road around 6:37 p.m.

The victim suffered non life-threatening injuries and was taken to a local hospital for treatment. 

Police say shortly after, a robbery was reported in the same area. 

Officers located and arrested a 30-year-old woman from Detroit, Michigan.

The Mount Pleasant Police Department asks anyone with additional information to contact the Investigations Bureau.
