Walkout and march held for MPS teacher's aide fighting deportation

CBS 58 MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- There was a teacher walkout and march at ALBA Elementary School on Milwaukee's south side Tuesday, June 10.
Those participating expressed their support for Yessenia Ruano, a teacher's aide who's fighting deportation to El Salvador.
Ruano, who's been in the U.S. for 14 years, was ordered to leave on her own last week. That order was put on hold.
Her visa is under review as a human trafficking victim, and ICE is reviewing her request to stay in America while that case plays out.
