Walgreens to Buy Rite-Aid

In a pharmacy mega-merger, Walgreens is buying Rite Aid.
The $17.2 billion deal puts together two of the nation's largest pharmacy chains that combined have nearly 13,000 stores.
Rite Aid (RAD) stores will keep their names "initially," but may convert to the Walgreens or Duane Reade brand in the future, Walgreens(WBA) said in announcing the deal Tuesday.
