CEDARBURG, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Volunteers spent Memorial Day building an inclusive playground.
The inclusive playground is being built in Willowbrooke Community Park in Cedarburg.
The playground has equipment which is designed for children with mobility issues.
It includes safe surfacing and wheelchair-accessible spaces.
"We saw a need in our community for a playground that would be utilized by kids that have all different abilities," said Heather Lenox, Volunteer Coordinator with the Willowbrooke Community Park Build.
Volunteers have been raising money for a year to complete the project.
They still need some donations for the finishing touches on the playground.
They hope to have that money raised in the next month.
